We guarantee your Border Collie puppy is free from genetic disorders for 30 months (2.5 years) when proper care is maintained, including:

 Patellar Luxation (OFA evaluation required by 24 months)
 Congenital Deafness (BAER test verification)
 Hereditary Cataracts (HC)
 Degenerative Myelopathy (DM)
 Hyperuricosuria (HUU)

Requirements to Maintain Guarantee

To activate this guarantee, you must:

1. Annual Vet Exams

   • Submit records within 30 days of each checkup

2. Proper Weight Management

   • Maintain BMI under 6/9 (per body condition score)

3. OFA Patella Exam

   • Completed between 18-24 months

4. Follow Care Guidelines

   • Use our recommended diet/exercise plan

   • No forced exercise before 12 months

Remedial Actions

If a qualifying condition is diagnosed:

• Replacement Puppy: Next available litter (buyer covers shipping)

• Partial Refund: 50% of purchase price

• Medical Assistance: Up to $500 toward treatment (with vet documentation)

Exclusions

This guarantee does not cover:

• Illness/injury from neglect, accidents, or unauthorized breeding

• Allergies, cherry eye, or other non-life-impacting conditions

• Issues arising from improper diet/overfeeding

Spay/Neuter Clause

• Pet-Quality Puppies: Must be spayed/neutered by 14 months

• Breeding Rights: Require separate contract (+$2,000 fee) and genetic testing

Lifetime Return Policy

If you can no longer care for your dog at any age, we will:

• Take them back within 72 hours

• Provide rehoming assistance

• No refund required
